Strategic Brand, Website & Audience Engagement Counsel, 2013–present

Climate One at the Commonwealth Club, San Francisco

What we did: Engagement | Planning

ArtRise Projects developed a Strategic Engagement Plan focused on updating and defining Climate One’s brand identity; extending the influence and impact of its public programs and media; and building the organization’s audience and communications capacity. Working with Climate One’s Executive Producer Greg Dalton and a team of advisors, ArtRise principal Burke de Guzman provided counsel regarding positioning Climate One as a leadership forum for the dialogue surrounding energy, the economy, and the environment, as well as on generating increased visibility and appreciation for the program, its speakers, and audiences. As part of this effort, Burke de Guzman helped assemble the project team for and provided counsel on the redesign and relaunch of the Climate One website, led and implemented by the collaborative software development and design firm Carbon 5. In 2017, she guided Climate One in setting a communications and engagement strategy for the celebration of its 10th Anniversary and move into the Commonwealth Club’s new building on San Francisco’s Embarcadero. From 2019-2020, ArtRise facilitated a strategic planning process based on in-depth audience research to support Climate One’s evolution as a national media leader on the climate crisis. ArtRise continues to provide counsel regarding long-term planning, stakeholder engagement, and organizational development for the program.
