Plan

Engage

Beginning under the auspices of Museum Management Consultants in 1994, and transitioning to an independent contract in 1999, ArtRise Projects Principal Marnie Burke de Guzman conducted quantitative and qualitative audience research and organizational assessments as part of the Wallace Foundation’s Museum Collections Accessibility Initiative. In 1999, she began conducting evaluation and offering strategic audience engagement counsel as an independent consultant to the Walker Art Center staff and Board of Trustees as part of the Artists and Communities at the Crossroads Project, supported by The Pew Charitable Trusts’ Program for Art Museums and Communities (1999–2003); through the Learning Through Education in the Arts Project funded by the Wallace Foundation (2005); and in the Civic Engagement Project associated with the More Than a Museum Initiative supported by the Archibald Bush Foundation (2003–2006).
