WHAT WE DO
ArtRise Projects collaborates with artists, arts leaders, philanthropists, and community partners to forge new modes of engagement in contemporary culture and civic life. We bring together creative strategists, content developers, and arts producers to advance innovative exhibitions, programs, and initiatives.
Over the past decade, cultural organizations have become highly contested spaces, fielding controversies about the purpose and impact of art and artists; sparking debate and protest around social issues, funding, and worker’s rights; and responding to natural disasters and public health crises. ArtRise hosts interdisciplinary forums and scenario planning, helping artists and arts organizations clarify their values and reconsider their practices as they develop greater relevance and stability.

We believe the ambiguity, uncertainty, and adversity inherent in this era of rapid change can breed the very orientation needed for a more collaborative, inclusive, and sustainable future. Art introduces new perspectives, encouraging us to take in multiple truths and better understand deeply nuanced, at times difficult, topics. We take an integrated approach to interpretation and engagement and create meaningful, interactive, and resonant audience experiences across both digital and onsite spaces.
